Guard and percussion, an odd mix. One might say it is a sort of love hate relationship.
It is written in the Great Book of Drumline: “…and so the Great One created a new section, who’s members were of a multitude of sizes and shapes to appease all the needs and desires of the drumliners….” It goes on to say “… but this gift did not come without a price for the masters of rhythm….”
